Self-Defence:-
The Self-Defence program at D.G.B.K. College, Kasarda, is guided by the motto “Be Aware, Be Prepared, Be Safe. Protect Yourself and Protect Others.” It is dedicated to empowering girl students with the necessary skills, confidence, and awareness to protect themselves from harm and physical assault. By providing structured training in self-defence techniques, the program equips young women with the ability to respond effectively to threatening situations, fostering a sense of security and self-reliance.
With a strong commitment to transforming lives, the initiative ensures accessible, inclusive, and supportive training that enables girls to live fearlessly, free from intimidation or violence. Through practical sessions, awareness campaigns, and expert guidance, students develop both physical and mental resilience. The program also instills the virtue of “Nari Shakti” (Women’s Power), reinforcing the belief that courage and strength can overcome the vices of violence.
Beyond physical training, self-defence education at the college promotes self-confidence, quick decision-making, and awareness of personal safety. It encourages young women to stand up for themselves and others, creating a safer and more empowered society. This initiative is a crucial step towards ensuring the dignity, independence, and well-being of every girl student

The Career Counselling Cell at D.G.B.K. College, Kasarda, is dedicated to guiding and supporting students in making informed career choices. It aims to provide opportunities from diverse fields, helping students enhance their skills and knowledge to confidently face the competitive world. By offering career guidance sessions, workshops, and expert interactions, the cell ensures that students are well-prepared for their professional journey.
Through personalized counseling and mentorship, the cell assists students in identifying their strengths, interests, and career aspirations. It also provides insights into various career pathways, higher education opportunities, and skill development programs. The initiative bridges the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, ensuring students are equipped with the necessary competencies to excel in their chosen fields.
With a strong focus on career progress and advancement, the Career Counselling Cell not only empowers students with knowledge but also instills confidence in them to take on future challenges.
